Tema adelanto de lo q sera el nuevo de los estadounidenses Morne titulado “Asylum”:

Morne – “My Return” (Stereogum Premiere)

Q grandes grupos tiene Profound Lore.

Esto es lo q pone en Profound Lore del cd:

Atmospheric epic crust/sludge metal band MORNE have completed work on their follow-up to 2009’s “Untold Wait”.

Entitled “Asylum”, this Boston, Massachusetts contingent have been known (in their somewhat-short career) to create some of the heaviest, most absorbing, and overwhelming sounds in heavy music today. Sounds that mirror the vibe bands like Neurosis had back in their “Souls At Zero” and “Enemy Of The Sun” days.

Nonetheless, “Asylum” is MORNE’s heaviest, most atmospheric and cinematic sonic offering to date. While still maintaining the band’s crust, hardcore, and post-metal leanings, “Asylum” sees the band delve more into genres such as progressive metal and classic ‘70s prog rock, as well as neo-classical chamber (Kris Force of AMBER ASYLUM once again makes a guest appearance, this time being accompanied by JARBOE on the album’s closing track ‘Volition’) classic ‘80s post-punk (i.e. Joy Division, Cure) and some influence from classic art rock (i.e. Swans, Fields Of The Nephilhim).

El otro día lo estuve reescuchando y me encontré con ese tema, no me acordaba. Es una ida de pinza importante para lo que es este grupo.

pues a mí es que no me hacen mucha gracia, se me atragantan. y eso que a mí me molan mucho los desarrollos interminables, los ruiditos y demás. soy to fan de explosions in the sky (y mira que son repetitivos y moñas:: pero, joder, cómo me mola el reverb!!), pero esto se me cae!
