“It’s always hard to deal with bad gig promoters who have no respect for the hard work, loads of invested money and many hours on the road that musicians put themselves through.
Yesterday GAEREA arrived at Gruta 77 around 7pm. After some time waiting for useful information from Chroma Nation about dinner and where to put the equipment, we start to notice that the bill of the show was changed without an earlier notice. GAEREA had been put aside from being the third band playing to be the last! Worst case is that every band already knew these changes a while ago, as we got the opportunity to check during the night. The band accepted these late modifications anyway and waited the whole night for a show that was promised to happen at 2:30am and only had the chance to do so at 3:50am!! Again, the band wanted to play for an audience that waited all that time to see the show. After setting up all the equipment on stage, we got to know from the venue’s sound engineer that some of the requests the band did months ago were totally discarded AND at the same time the venue owner was asking on stage for a 15min show (when we were promised to have a 30 min show this whole time) because he wanted to close the bar!GAEREA refuses to work on these conditions as the band demands respect. This show was carefully prepared for months. The band does not accept this kind of behavior from Chroma Nation that did their best to humiliate the performance.
For whom it may concern, none of the bands knew of this tragic situation and plan to ruin Gaerea’s show. This is a situation between the band and the promoter.
We want to express our big gratitude for all the people who came to see one band that never played. The void will return to Madrid really soon to deliver it’s message upon you.

GAEREA”Pues a mi me jode la vida la manera de montar el evento en Madrid. Sala que me pilla a tomar por culo y apertura de puertas ultra-tarde con seis bandas para tener que acabar a las 6 de la mañana!!!!!
Mira que me jode, porque Necrophobic es de mis favoritos, y hay muchas ganas de ver el Womb of Lilithu en directo, pero joder, es que con un crío no puedo estar con horarios de nochevieja, llegar a casa a casi las 7 y que me despierten dos horas después….
¿Alguien va del foro, por si cambio de idea?
